Cordless Electric Scissors, Rechargeable with LED Light & Quick Blade Swap

Very nice and powerful electric scissors suitable for many cutting needs, but not all. In testing, I found that this tool is excellent at cutting thick materials such as batting, cardboard, carpet, plastic or leather. It breezes through far faster and easier than manual scissors. It will cut thin and delicate cloths as well but because of the height of the guide, which raises the blade about a quarter of an inch above the cloth, it makes it difficult to follow a crease or seam with the material resting on a flat surface, while keeping it on track. It also has LED lights at the blades which do actually help even in bright daylight. While not really suited to making small and complex cut such as the many pieces of a quilt, I found this little machine to be totally useful and perfect when making long cuts of thick material. The scissors come with a storage bag, two blades, a key for replacing the blades and a USB charging cord. It came out of the box 90% charged and has a LED readout that shows the current battery level. It also has three cutting speeds which can give you more force when cutting the thick stuff. The tool has a safety switch that required you to press two buttons together to activate it. This is high quality little machine and should provide years of service. I have been using these scissors to help my wife with her quilting endeavors and so far, we have been very pleased with this purchase.

Made short work of my 7’x5’x5’ pile of boxes. Allowed my arthritic hands to break it all down in a little over an hour. Battery only dropped 25% during all that hard work. Now, I’ll get rid of my boxes in two recycling pickups instead of four. This tool doesn’t feed the item into the shears. I’d say it’s like having a very sharp knife. It makes most cuts effortless. For very thick cardboard, I still have to push it through the material. These electric scissors cut through everything I needed them to.

Great tool, my 8 year old son can use it quite easily and it is vey safe even for him to use.

Had this one on my wishlist for a while. Came fully charged. Feels like a quality product. Had three speeds to adjust to what you're cutting. This made short work of some large boxes I had lying around. Simply use slight pressure to move the cutter forward and it'll cut through carboard like butter. Definitely worth the money I paid. Would recommend if, like me, you let boxes pile up until there are too many to get around!

I didn't expect this device to be this good and useful, i thought this would be a gimmicky item, but no! You literally mow through cardboard boxes like it's nothing. i can comfortably cut through Costco's cardboard crates if you know you know. Major helper around the house, had good safety features. Love this thing

Product works great on boxes that already have been broken down. Buttt if the box isn’t broken down and flat then you’re making a lot more cuts then just the one to flatten a box with a box cutter. Also if the box is wrinkled it has a hard time cutting through. And it’s only good for single layer boxes. If it’s thick it has a hard time. All in all if you need to use your box cutter to break the box down not sure if this is worth it.
